The Istrian peninsula is crammed with picturesque walled old villages on the seashore but few are as attractive as Novigrad. Istarski poluotok je prepun slikovitih stijenki stara sela na morskoj obali, ali rijetki su kao atraktivna kao i Novigrad. The center of the old town lies on a limestone peninsula that has been once an island. Središte starog grada leži na vapnenačkom poluotočiću koji je jednom otoku. Medieval walls topped with renewed crenellated towers run over the port and also the ancient center is replete with fifteenth to 18th-century homes and palaces. Srednjovjekovnim zidinama na vrhu s obnovljenim crenellated kule pregaziti luku i stari centar je napunjen s petnaestog do 18. stoljeća kuće i palače. A sightseeing highlight of Novigrad is the baroque Rigo Palace with a exquisitly sculpted facade. Razgledavanje Vrhunac Novigrad je barokna palača Rigo s exquisitly kipareni fasada. The top of the island is devoted to a park shaded with parasol pines and there's a lungomare – seaside promenade – that runs along the coast to the Novigrad marina, probably the most sheltered in the Adriatic sea. Na vrhu otoka je posvećen park hladu borova sa suncobranom i ima lungomare - šetališta - koji prometuje duž obale Novigrad marine, vjerojatno sklonili u Jadranskom moru.
